2025 LGMC Field Trips

The SignUpGenius links for online registration are sent to all members as soon as they are available. Please contact individual trip leader(s) to cancel if you signed up at the May meeting. Reports of attendees are sent to field trip leader(s) on the Monday before their trip. Cancellations and late signups must be done directly with the leader after that time. Changes after Monday don’t have time to be forwarded to the leader(s).

No registration links are posted on the LGMC website.

**Due to the reduced, yet continuing presence of the Covid-19 virus, please continue to exercise good judgement and be respectful of others. If you do feel sick, we would advise that you please respect others health and not attend field trips.**

For all field trips, bring a backpack with rain gear, gloves, tools, water, lunch, and sunscreen. Some people bring a 5-gallon bucket for equipment and to use as a stool to sit on (and to carry specimen back to vehicle). Appropriate field boots are strongly suggested, tennis shoes are not recommended. Wear a good sun-protecting hat.

NOTE: SignUpGenius will state if trips have limits on the number of participants and if registration is full. Registration will be on a “first come, first served” basis. You must contact the trip leader(s) to be put on their waitlist if SignUpGenius indicates the trip is full. They will add names to their list in case someone cancels. If this occurs, the next person on the list will be offered the opportunity to go on the trip. If you have questions about any field trip, contact the individual trip leader(s).

Members must read the “Field Trips Rules and Decorum.”
